About Me

Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet! Here you’ll find the stories I have written to explore, experiment and share the craft of writing.
I don’t post at any set frequency so your best bet for staying up-to-date is following the blog or signing up for email updates. 🙂

Now for the bit about me… I grew up in rural Pennsylvania and spent most of my childhood in the forest around my home. I have always had a deep interest in history and fantasy and studying abroad during college deepened my interest in both. Four, almost five, years ago I was offered the opportunity to move to Norway (!) and become an Au Pair (think Mary Poppins.)

While in Norway I became involved with the Living History and Historical Reenactment community. This is a vibrant community of people dedicated to re-creating the crafts, military techniques and daily life of the viking and medieval periods. As a writer this was been a gold mine of interesting facts, people and most of all battle scene choreography! I learned so much and remain involved in the group even after my move back to the USA.

I look forward to chatting with you about my writing, your writing or writing in general! Discussing the process and the trials is all part of the joy of practicing this wonderful craft. Please reach out to me on Instagram, Facebook, or here through my contact form. I do have a day job so there may be a day or so delay in responses. 🙂

Here are a few photos of me doing my favorite things, reenactment and living history!
